1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using Alfred AI (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Alfred AI is a professional coaching application providing AI-powered guidance to help professionals achieve their career goals. The App is currently in beta testing phase.

2.1 Beta Status

• The App is provided “as is” during beta testing
• Features may change without notice
• Service interruptions may occur
• Feedback and bug reports are welcomed

3. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

3.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• One account per user only

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

4.1 You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Share false or misleading information
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

4.2 Professional Use

The App is intended for professional development purposes only.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5.1 Our Property

All App content, features, and functionality are owned by X42 SRL and protected by intellectual property laws.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you provide but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use it for service provision and improvement.

5.3 Feedback

Any feedback you provide becomes our property and may be used without compensation.

6. AI COACHING DISCLAIMER

6.1 Advisory Nature

AI coaching provided through Alfred AI is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional career counseling or employment advice.

6.2 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee any specific career outcomes or results from using our services.

7. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with GDPR requirements. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1 Exclusion of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

8.2 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY BELGIAN LAW, X42 SRL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages exceeding €100 in aggregate

8.3 Essential Rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless X42 SRL from any claims arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights
• Your use or misuse of the App

10. MODIFICATIONS

10.1 To Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification.

10.2 To Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

11.1 Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law, excluding conflict of law provisions.

11.2 Jurisdiction

The courts of Brussels, Belgium have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

11.3 Language

These Terms are drafted in English. In case of translation discrepancies, the English version prevails.

12. SEVERABILITY

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

13. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and X42 SRL regarding Alfred AI.

14. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

15. ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights freely.

16. WAIVER

No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
